The Empire style has a high waist, generally speaking, just below the bust line and is a very flattering style for most heights and sizes, and on the other hand, if you are a shorter bride then this style can offer an impression of height. Less figure hugging than the Princess or A Line style, if you don't like full skirts then this could be the perfect option for you. It's a really wonderful style for the bride with a smaller bust as it produces the illusion of cleavage. Generally speaking, it gives a leaner silhouette than the Princess or A Line style.
